Kwanghee Jung

Kwanghee Jung, an assistant research professor, brings to NIEER expertise in quantitative data analysis and is working on studies that analyze the effect of participation in state-funded preschool on children’s learning and development. She is currently investigating the inequalities in COVID-19’s impact on the learning opportunities of preschool-age children. Kwanghee’s other research interests include family risk factors and academic achievement of young children in ethnic minority families. Kwanghee earned her Ph.D. in Child and Family Studies at Syracuse University.
