Valerie Werstler

Valerie Werstler manages all day-to-day Institute operations, including administration and coordination of budgetary, fiscal, and human resource functions. She also contributes to overall Institute planning and special projects. Valerie’s career has focused on providing for and administering early childhood education programs. She has worked with the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, the Middlesex County Department of Human Services, and the Child Care Connection of Mercer County. She also consulted groups such as the I Have a Dream Foundation, the New School for Social Research, and the New Jersey Task Force on Employer-Supported Child Care. She has been a panel speaker and author. Valerie holds a BA from Reed College, a Certificate in Early Childhood Education from the University of California, Berkeley, and a MS in Nonprofit Management from the New School for Social Research.
