Right from the Start: Cradle to Kindergarten

NIEER Senior Co-Director Ellen Frede recently participated in a panel discussion hosted by Right from the Start NJ, a statewide advocacy effort dedicated to ensuring resources and services are in place so infants and toddlers can achieve the highest level of cognitive, emotional, and physical development possible.

The discussion featured “Cradle to Kindergarten” authors Ajay Chaudry, Ph.D., former deputy assistant secretary for human services policy at HHS, and Taryn Morrisssey, Ph.D., senior advisor in human services policyat HHS, along with a panel of early care and education experts. The event was moderated by Steve Adubato.

The Right from the Start NJ campaign focuses on three areas:
