As a Research Project Coordinator, Mariel assists with the day-to-day management of data collection of statewide research studies. She manages data sets, conducts reliability with field staff, communicates with project partners (administrators, teachers, data collectors, etc.), and provides support to the field staff. In addition, she conducts trainings using various evaluation instruments that rate teachers and settings in early childhood and early primary grades. She graduated with a B.A. in Psychology from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey and is currently pursuing a M.Ed. in Learning, Cognition, and Development (Educational Psychology) from Rutgers University Graduate School of Education.
