Summary

This article reviews benefit-cost analyses of three preschool education programs: Carolina Abecedarian, Chicago Child-Parent Centers, and High/Scope Perry Preschool. The author concludes that based on these and other studies, the high rates of return on investments for pre-K programs call for public investments in preschool education.
