Head Start's Lasting Benefits

This article provides an overview and evaluation of research on Head Start, discussing the implications of this research as it applies to the debate surrounding reauthorizing the federal program. The authors conclude this review of research finds mixed, but generally positive, evidence regarding Head Start's long-term benefits.
